Found mainly in Roscommon and Galway, variations of the name Curley include Kerley, Turley, Terry and McTerrelly. It is an anglicized form of the Gaelic name Mac Thoirdealbhoigh, translated to the son one in the shape of Thor. The name has also been Anglicized as "Terence" and "Terry".
We know that our Curly family is from the area around Tromaun, but we haven't yet found information on who the father of Mary was.
